Educational content and training risk

Applied Jiu-Jitsu provides general Jiu-Jitsu and competition-rules education, not medical advice or a guarantee of results. Training carries risk. Work under qualified supervision, respect your partner, and stop when a movement creates pain or unsafe pressure.

Rules information

Rules change and vary by event, age, rank, division, and organizer. Articles reflect the ruleset and publication date stated in the material. Always consult the current official rulebook and event officials before competing.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for your account and password. Member and purchased-course access is personal and may not be resold, shared, scraped, recorded, or redistributed. Accounts used unlawfully, fraudulently, or abusively may be suspended or terminated.

Paid courses

Prices, currency, taxes, the course included, and any specific access or refund terms are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. Unless the checkout terms say otherwise, a course purchase is a one-time purchase for access through your account while Applied Jiu-Jitsu continues to operate that course. Applicable statutory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.

Clip permissions

By submitting footage, you confirm that you are an adult, have authority to share it, and have permission from identifiable participants. You also grant the analysis and publication permissions selected in the submission form. Do not submit private, unlawful, infringing, or unsafe material.

Intellectual property

Original Applied Jiu-Jitsu text, videos, course materials, and branding are protected. References to third-party rules, organizations, or techniques do not imply endorsement. Brief personal notes are permitted; reproducing or distributing course material is not.

Service changes

Content and features may evolve, and temporary interruptions may occur. Applied Jiu-Jitsu will make reasonable efforts to preserve legitimate purchased access or provide an appropriate remedy where required by law.

Contact and applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Quebec and Canada, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply to you. Questions can be sent to contact@appliedjiujitsu.com.
